FUND TestNet Upgrade successfully completed & and updated Cosmos SDK to v0.45.15 and IBC to v3.4.0 as scheduled. At approx. 21/03/23 12:42 UTC (block 5,840,430), TestNet was upgraded to use und v1.7.0. Thanks to all involved & MainNet ahead!

1. UNoDE is still in private development - Next step will be private testing with partners, anticipated in early Q2 and a larger beta release in Q2-3. It's an ambitious undertaking and similar to previous product deployments, the foundation takes the needed time to develop,, but when the product is right, it ships the right product for market needs! 2. The foundation continues to as a lead technical and architectural advisor on the project. However this work is also highly synergistic to internal development given the scale and utility of usage of Unification's product in the project (including UNoDE & OoO) 3. There are dozens of projects reaching out everyday with many looking to merly "partner" with the Foundation for name/associtiaon While Unification's products remain truely permissionless and can get used by anyone, all requests are reviewed and those with actual applicable utility to improve the blockchain tech eco-system as a whole are advised as partners. At the moment there are two such possibilites (with more reviewd daily) Now time to go back and keep quietly building in the background 🙂

The growth of the network only comes through organic usage of FUND through purchases of Enterprise FUND (eFUND) by enterprise partners. eFUND can also be thought of as FUND that is locked, purely for the initial usage of beacons/WRKchains on the Unification Network. Through the process of usage within these tools, the tokens will unlock/transfer to the Validators (and delegators) as rewards and enter the total supply. eFUND resolves the issue of price fluctuations and allows enterprise partners to hedge against massive variability by acquiring locked tokens. The total possibility of new eFUND created is limited to less than 10,000,000 annually, although it has been lower in previous years. However, given the upgrade of the network, we have already seen a number of beacon renewals and anticipate more as new projects onboard following future OoO and other tool upgrades.

Hello Unification community. I’m Sam. I run Big Boss Capital, one of the oldest validators for Unification, and also I have the largest stake delegated to my node. Today I’m really exicted to announce a grant vote for the creation of a FUND liquid staking derivative token on Ethereum. This will allow anyone to stake Ethereum based FUND and recieve a staked version in return. We are planning to use Frax’s model as it creates both liquidity in Curve and staking incentives. The goal of all of this is to integrate sFUND into EVM based lending protocols and also for use in Shiba’s ecosystem. You can read the full proposal here
